As of Friday, April 1, the Bay Clinic Keaau WIC program will be relocated to the Pahoa Women’s Health Center at 15-2866 Pahoa Village Road, Bldg. F, Suite A.
“The same Bay Clinic WIC staff will be providing equivalent quality services to our WIC recipients,” said Amanda Freitas, WIC coordinator. “To ensure that our Keaau WIC participants receive continued access to our program, we have added more days of operation.”
Bay Clinic and the state have been in close collaboration to ensure continued service to the residents of Keaau, who now also can obtain WIC services at the Hawaii WIC Program located in the Waiakea Kai Plaza at 88 Kanoelehua Ave., Suite 201.
“Our staff will work with all recipients who choose to stay with Bay Clinic’s WIC program to coordinate transportation with the Hele On bus system and other transport services, when needed,” said Freitas. For more information, call 965-3045. Visit www.bayclinic.org.
