A 55-year-old Eden Roc man who allegedly barricaded himself in an Ahi Avenue home on Tuesday, threatened the house’s occupants with a firearm, and held off officers for almost seven hours before his surrender, faces several charges.
On Wednesday afternoon, police charged Jeffrey Keith Cabanatan with terroristic threatening and four counts of unregistered firearms.
His bail was set at $104,000, and his initial appearance is set for Monday in Hilo District Court.
