Aloha Performing Arts Company’s Aloha Teen Theatre has finalized the cast for its upcoming production of “Into the Woods, Jr.,” Sondheim’s cockeyed fairy tale where all of your favorite childhood characters meet and interact on their journey through the woods as they seek to find true happiness.
This show is directed by teen Sarah Rouse under the guidance of adult mentor Sue Boyum; choreography is by teen Nora Frank with Lee Vinson as mentor.
The ensemble cast includes Miles Lugo as the Baker, Mia Kriebel-Bruno as the Baker’s Wife, Nora Frank as The Witch, Kristen Cole-Porter as Rapunzel, John Hulen as The Narrator, Madison Vetter as They Mysterious Man, Simon Ellis as Jack, Alicia Hicks as Jack’s Mother, Sarah Bellatti as Little Red, Tyler Savarese as The Wolf, Saffy Datta as Granny, Emily Dungate as Cinderella, Lexi Heywood as Florinda, Tyler Savarese as Lucinda, Julien Jean-Burch as Cinderella’s Father & the Steward, and Saffy Datta as Cinderella’s Mother & Step Mother.
“Into the Woods, Jr.” plays at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu at 7 p.m. on May 10 and 11, and at 2 p.m. May 12. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Reserved tickets are available online at alohatheatre.com.
