The USDA and the University of Hawaii invite all interested farmers to a special free Risk Management Road Show Orchard Growers Field Day on Saturday, April 27, at the UH-Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Kona Research Station.
Registration starts at 8:15 a.m., with the program running from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 79-7381 Mamalahoa Highway in Kealakekua. Please call 322-4892 to RSVP, or send an email to ginab@hawaii.edu.
Are you looking to diversify and reduce your farming risks? Learn about Korean Natural Farming, fruit flies and the banana moth, a pest of coffee, fruit and ornamental trees.
There will also be a trade show of agricultural chemical companies, government agencies, nonprofit agencies and various CTAHR Extension programs.
