Born in Hilo, he was a retired machinist with the former Hilo Coast Processing Company, member of Hakalau Jodo Mission, Wailea Social & Recreation Club and Hui Okinawa. Private services held. Survived by wife, Kinuko Arakaki of Hakalau; daughters, Toby (Alan) Ginoza of Kaneohem Kay Arakaki of Honolulu, Pearl (Sean) Ueno of Killeen, Texas; grandson, Brandon Ginoza of Kaneohe; brothers, Yeiko (Caroline) Arakaki of Hilo, Hiroshi Arakaki of California; sister, Amy Arakaki of California; one grandson; numerous nieces and nephews.
