The state Department of Transportation has announced the following roadwork for Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, weather permitting:

l On Volcano Highway (Highway 11), northbound lane shifts in the vicinity of the Keaau Bypass Road intersection between East Palai Street and Keaau-Pahoa Road, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, for roadway work.

l On Volcano Highway (Highway 11), alternating single-lane closures in both directions in the vicinity of Kulani Road between South Pszyk Road and Kukui Camp Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for guardrail and traffic signal installations.

l On Kohala Mountain Road (Highway 250), alternating single-lane closures in both directions in the vicinity of Kahua Ranch between milepost markers 12.8 and 13.9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for drainage improvements.

l On Akoni Pule Highway (Highway 270), alternating single-lane closures in both directions in the vicinity of Hawi to Kapaau between milepost markers 21.2 and 23.5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for roadway reconstruction.

l On Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 190) in the vicinity of Makalei, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Uluoa Street and Old Kona Village Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for roadway reconstruction.

l On Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 11) in the vicinity of Captain Cook, alternating lane closures in both directions between Kiloa Road and Rabbit Hill Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for slope stabilization work.
