Tomiko Adviento, 91, of Ninole died April 25 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kapehu, she was a homemaker. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by sons, Wallace Adviento and Bobby (Lizanne) Adviento of Hilo; daughters, Jane (Art) Miller of Camphill, Pa., and Betty (Jerry) Okada of Kurtistown; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Warren Joseph Ferreira, 73, of Hilo, formerly of Honolulu, died April 6 at Hospice of Hilo Hale Pohai Malama facility. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired Honolulu Police Department deputy chief and retired director of security for Outrigger Hotels and University of Hawaii at Hilo. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 11 a.m.-noon Saturday at Borthwick Mortuary in Honolulu. Memorial service at noon. Ellsworth Kekela IlI, 74, of Pepeekeo died April 9 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retiree from JC Penney, U.S. Air Force veteran, counselor and journalist for Honolulu Boy Choir and kupuna at Nanaikapono Elementary School. Gordon J. McRae, 77, of Aiea, Oahu, died March 28 in Aiea. Born in Hilo, he was retired from Hawaiian Bitumuls, had worked for Amfac and Jorgensen Steel and was a dog obedience trainer. Ernest Silva, aka Ernest DeSilva, 77, of Hilo died April 26 in Hilo.
