Richard “Rick” Allen Freeman, 66, of Kapaau died April 24 at home. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was a retired California firefighter and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve veteran. Lawrence Patrick Medeiros, 76, of Waialua, Oahu, formerly of Volcano, died April 17 at Wahiawa General Hospital on Oahu.
