Police are investigating a reported road rage incident in Puna on Monday.

After a traffic dispute around 6:45 p.m., the driver of a blue Honda sedan hurled objects at the victim’s car and forced it onto the shoulder of Highway 130 near the 4-mile marker, police said. The suspect then reached into the victim’s vehicle and assaulted him.

The victim was driving a Champagne-colored Honda sedan and headed toward Pahoa.
