Police looking for shoplifting suspect
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted for questioning in a theft case. Merchandise valued at $226 was stolen from a retail store on the 96-200 block of Waikoloa Beach Drive on April 8.
Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the person pictured above may call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
Suspect sought in island abuse case
Police are searching for a Big Island man wanted in an abuse case.
The suspect, Raneiri Montijo, also goes by the names Adrian and Ray.
Montijo has lived in Hilo and Kona, and also has ties to the Ka‘u area. He’s described as 5-foot-10, 200 pounds and in his 30s.
