Shane Carle pitched a complete game Friday night as Long Beach State beat Hawaii 6-2 in a baseball game in Long Beach, Calif.

Zack Rivera had two hits for Long Beach (23-24, 10-9) and drove in a run with a double, Zach Miller was 2 for 4 and Colton Vaughn had a two-run single.

Connor Little (1-6) took the loss for Hawaii (11-32, 6-13), surrendering five earned runs and eight hits in seven innings. Stephen Ventimilia was 2 for 3 and scored two runs.
