Survived by sister, Masako Kadooka of Hilo; brothers, Melvin (Chris) Mayeda of Torrance, Calif., Clarence Akio Mayeda of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Klothilde Mayeda of Bad Mergentheim, Germany; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
