Helen Yaeko Yamamoto, 86, of Pahoa died May 15 at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired secretary with Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Company. She was a member of Taishoji Soto Mission and its Fujin Kai, Baikako and Busshin Kai, Kyu Pahoa Kumiai and Pahoa Nikken Jin Kai. Private services held. No flowers, no koden.
