HPK Couponers — which stands for Hilo, Puna and Kona Couponers — is a group of folks who assist one another in using coupons to find the best deals in town. While being able to save and stockpile, they also give back to the community by designating a charity of their choice each month.
For the month of April, HPK Couponers donated to A Dream Come True foundation, which grants terminally ill children of the Big Island fulfillment of a dream, and to the Missions Ministry of Heritage Christian Heritage, which works with abused women in shelters.
HPK Couponers gave a wide variety of items from their stockpiles. HPK Couponers is always willing to help others.
