Atchuo Ueta Palik, 27, of Kailua-Kona died May 17 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kosrae, Micronesia, he was a kitchen helper at Wendy’s restaurant and member of the Kosrae Kona Organization and Kosrae Congregational Church. Friends may call at 8 a.m. Friday at the Kosrae Congregational Church in Kalaoa, Kona; service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in the Waimea county cemetery. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Mona DeMello Pierson, 72, of Portland, Ore., formerly of Hilo, died April 29 in Portland. Her full name was not published in Sunday’s obituary.
