Emory Houston Deason, 92, of Kailua-Kona died June 1 at his home under care of Hospice of Kona. Born in Greenville, Ky., he served in WWII and retired from Chrysler Motors as a production manager. Military services will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Donations may be made to Hospice of Kona, A Hui Hou Ministries, or Meals on Wheels. Survived by nephew, John Wayne (Mary) Deason of Warren, Mich., and Donna Deason (Don) DuBrock of Louisville, Ky. Arrangements by A Hui Hou Crematory & Funeral Home of West Hawaii.

Mary Jane Isomura, 68, of Kailua-Kona died May 10 at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Kealakekua, she was a homemaker. Visitation 9 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at Pukaana Congregational Church. Service at 10 a.m. Private scattering of ashes to be held. Survived by sons, Horace Isomura Jr. of Waipio, Wallace Isomura of Kailua-Kona, Mark Isomura of Kealakekua; daughters, Dorothy Isomura of Kentucky, Melonie Shimamoto of Honolulu; sister, Dorothy (Wilfred) Ah Tou Sr. of Captain Cook; 13 grandchildren, a great-grandson, numerous nieces and nephews. Andrew A. Kamahele Sr., 79, of Hilo died Thursday, June 6, at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born in Hilo, he retired as a Marine Corps veteran. Private services held. Quecannon Kekoa Nihipali, 40, formerly of Mountain View, died May 20 in Riverside, Calif. Born on Oahu, he was an epoxy specialist. Memorial service begins at noon on June 29 at Punalu’u Beach Park. Emil “Kapio” Kapioanuenue Spencer, 59, of Pahoehoe died May 26 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he formerly worked with Glover Construction as a heavy equipment operator, was a supervisor for Kona Coffee Co-op, a State Highway Division worker, a records clerk for Hawaii County Police and a rancher for McCandles Ranch. Born in Roswell, N.M., he was a tour bus driver for Polynesia Adventure Tours, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo Jaycees, Fil-Am Golf Club and Ball & Chain Bowling League.
