The low-flying helicopter that caused multiple complaints Wednesday along the Kona coast was chartered out by Fugro Aerial & Mobile Mapping, Inc., a private company that does GPS mapping.
The helicopter was not part of any Hawaii Police Department activity and should not be a cause for concern, the department said.
