Bay Clinic Inc. announces that its Pahoa Women’s Health Center has officially changed its name to Pahoa Women and Children’s Health Center.

Bay Clinic Inc. announces that its Pahoa Women’s Health Center has officially changed its name to Pahoa Women and Children’s Health Center.

In May of this year, pediatrician Dr. Richard Penland joined the Bay Clinic Ohana, expanding the health center’s care to the keiki of East Hawaii. “I am excited to serve the children of the community I live in,” said Penland. “Caring for children is a joy. I admire their honesty, openness and capacity for affection.”

“The new name reflects our commitment to offer quality care to the women and children of East Hawaii,” said Bay Clinic CEO Harold Wallace. “The Pahoa Women and Children’s Health Center will continue to work closely with our Pahoa Family Health Center to provide comprehensive medical, behavioral health, and dental care to all of the women, children and families of the Puna district.”

Bay Clinic’s Pahoa Women and Children’s Health Center is now taking pediatric appointments. To schedule your keiki’s visit with Penland, call 965-3038.
