A federal judge sentenced a 57-year-old Leilani Estates man to 20 years for molesting two children younger than 10 and distributing images of the abuse on the Internet.
U.S. District Judge Susan Oki Mollway also told Tucker that he when he gets out of prison, he’ll have to register as a sex offender and be subject to court supervision for the rest of his life.
Tucker, a former salesman for Willocks Construction, pleaded guilty on Jan. 17 to sexual exploitation of minors. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dropped five similar charges against him.
On Oct. 10, The FBI disseminated a photo of a man they said had distributed Internet images of himself engaged in sex acts with a minor boy and a minor girl. The agency connected the man in the photo to the Big Island because a 2008-09 Hawaii Island telephone book issued by Hawaiian Telcom was in the background of one of the images.
The following day, the agency released a written statement saying that a suspect was identified from public tips and a search warrant was executed on Tucker’s home.
Tucker’s wife, Petra Wiesenbauer, filed for divorce on Dec. 14.
