A news release from the paint company announced Monday morning a total of 20 winners around the country in the 2013 Main Street Matters competition.
The prize includes new exterior paint jobs for downtown businesses along a two-to-three-block stretch in each location within the coming year.
Towns were selected following a six-week voting period at www.paintwhatmatters.com, and “received an incredible outpouring of support including nearly 500,000 online votes,” according to the release.

Flint, Michigan
Greeley, Colorado
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Hawley, Pennsylvania
Hilo, Hawaii
Joplin, Missouri
Macon, Georgia
Martinez, California
Nyack, NY
Penticton, British Columbia
Placerville, California
Sanford, North Carolina
Sea Bright, New Jersey
Sheboygan, Wisconsin
Stouffville, Ontario
