William “Willie” John Daum, 63, of Kailua-Kona died July 6. Born in Oregon, he was a Vietnam Army veteran, a radio broadcaster and a screener for the TSA. Survived by sister, Linda Wilson of Bolingbrook, Ill., and many friends. William Tadao Sugiyama, 79, formerly of Hilo, died May 5 at his home in Columbia, Md. He worked for the Washington Post for 38 years as a printer. Services held.
