Alice Kapahu, 89, of Hilo died July 4 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Paauilo, she was retired as a floral packer for Island Tropical. Private services held. Gavino Perez Raniada, 97, of Hilo died June 18 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he retired from the former Puna Sugar Company as a crane operator and worked at the Hilo International Airport as a custodian. He also was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service at 11 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park (Lehua Section).
