Grebelen Baybayan, 46, of Keaau died Saturday, July 6, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Keaau, she was a food service worker for McDonald’s Puainako. Memorial service to be held at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home at 570 Kinoole St. on Saturday, Aug. 3. Andres M. “Kobie” Cabel Jr., 53, of Honolulu and formerly of Hilo, died April 29. Born in Hilo. George Isami Hamano, 71, of Seattle, Wash., died Friday, July 19. Born in Hilo, he was a civil engineer for the City and County of Los Angeles, eventually becoming a litigator for the National Labor Relations Board in Seattle, Wash.
