Jiro Tanaka, 92, of Waimea died Sunday, June 16, in Hilo. Born in Honohina, he was a retired electrical contractor and owner of the former Tanaka Electric. He was also a member of the Waimea Hongwanji Mission and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Private services held.
