HONOLULU — A male surfer is in serious condition at an Oahu hospital after being bitten by a shark.
Hawaii News Now reports a shark bit the man’s right leg when he was in the water at White Plains Beach on Monday.
The man is in his 20s.
Ocean safety officials are advising beachgoers to stay out of the water anywhere within a one mile area of the sighting.
