Roderick Paul Frost, 63, of Ocean View died July 15 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, he was a medical technician at Veterans Administration Hospital of Omaha. He was also an active volunteer in the Ocean View community and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Masato Kimura, 86, of Kalopa died July 22 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Paauilo, he was a retired truck driver for the former Hamakua Sugar Company and U.S. Marine Corp. veteran during the Korean War. He was also a member of Paauilo Hongwanji Mission & Kyodan, Kaapahu Community Club, Paauilo Senior Citizens and ILWU Pension Club.
