Born in Pahala, he was a retired principal of The Hawaii School for the Deaf and the Blind in Honolulu, member of Hilo United Methodist Church, Prostate Support Group, Huina Road Kumiai and a U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life (memorial services) at 11 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Private urn committal at a later date.
