Joseph “Tut” Keheana Kamoku Jr., 57, of Kailua-Kona died July 22 at the Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was a musical entertainer with the group, Aloha Aina, and entertained at the former Kona Hilton and Keauhou Beach hotels, as well as other popular venues in the Kona area. Richard J. L. Martin, 81, of Atlanta, Ga., died July 24. Born in the Far East, he was a retired professor at Georgia Tech, a 1950 graduate of Hilo High School, and served four years with the U.S. Air Force, primarily in Japan. Survived by a daughter, two sons, a sister and a wife.
