Detectives have released a 27-year-old Puna woman who was arrested Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend in Hawaiian Beaches.
At 8:30 p.m. Friday, after conferring with prosecutors, detectives released Manaolanalani Benford of Pahoa pending further investigation.
She had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder for the stabbing death of 42-year-old Shane Campbell at their Kawakawa Street home.
