Rose V. Alip, 71, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 20 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Waipio Valley, she was a retired paramedical assistant for Hilo Medical Center, a former bus driver for Laupahoehoe Transportation Co. and Bragado Bus Service and member of of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kona 1st Ward. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Honokaa. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Honokaa County Cemetery. Casual attire.
