Josephine Kealamaili Kailikini, 53, of Hilo died Sept. 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a flagger for Aloha Security and member of Ke Kilohana O Ka Malamalama. Visitation 9–11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at Ke Kilohana O Ka Malamalama in Hilo. Funeral service at 11. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. Survived by companion, Glenn Kondo of Hilo; son, Michael (Cheryl Shitabata) Kailikini of Hilo; brothers, Joseph “Joe” Kailikini Jr. and Cedric Kailikini of Hilo, Kevin Kailikini of Illinois; sisters, Harriet “Haleaka” Mamone and Theresa “Sistah” Gomes of Hilo, Ettatani Kailikini of Kailua-Kona; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
