“The Trial of Lili‘uokalani” has been drawing such large audiences that the Hilo Community Players have announced three additional performances: at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29.
The historical drama of the queen’s overthrow and trial for treason is presented in the upstairs theater space at East Hawaii Cultural Center, 141 Kalakaua St., in downtown Hilo. Tickets are $15 at the door, $10 in advance and for students with ID, $5 for keiki 12 and under. Group discounts are available.
