On the weekend following Thanksgiving, the Cooper Center will sponsor its seventh annual Kamahalo Craft Fair, and everyone is invited to the fun event on Friday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This craft fair features more than 30 vendors showcasing their homemade and handmade items. Beautiful jewelry, wood items, beautifully sewn items, handmade greeting cards — and even doggie treats — are among the items for sale. On Saturday, there will be a silent auction, which contributes to the excitement of the event. The silent auction will start at 10 a.m., with bidding to end at noon.

“One can get some cool items, as many of the vendors contribute their products to support the Cooper Center’s effort,” said a spokesman for the coordinating committee.

A few vendor booths remain open. For more information, or to get a vendor’s application, please contact Barbara Toles at 769-3903.
