The family and friends of Keahi Pavao, a Mountain View mother of three who recently experienced liver failure, have established a special liver transplant donation fund website to help her cope with the expenses of extreme medical bills.

Pavao recently was moved from Hilo Medical Center to Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, where she received a liver transplant and has begun her recovery.

“Keahi, who is the mom of three little boys — Kyle, Jason and RJ — will remain on Oahu to monitor her health,” said Tracie White, the spokesperson for her support group.

“Her boyfriend, Ryan Hudman, has been traveling weekly from Oahu back to the Big Island to spend time with their three little boys and organize his business,” said White. “The friends and family of Keahi are hoping to raise money to help with her related medical expenses and assist her family while she recovers.”

The Big Island community is invited to show support for the family via the donation website, https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/fd33/keahi-pavao-liver-transplant-fund.
