Kenneth Edward Totman Jr., 84, of Ainaloa subdivision, Pahoa, died Sept. 24 at home. Born in Portland, Maine, he was a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa and a founding member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3830. Visitation 5–6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pahoa. Memorial mass at 6 p.m. Urn committal noon Friday, Oct. 4 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Therese Marie Totman of Ainaloa; daughters, Mary Ann Kuhl of Pahoa, Gail Marie (Steve) Palacky of Fairfield, Calif., and Paulette (Louie) Gangano of Orchidland; sons, Mark Totman of Seattle, Kent (LaRoyce) Totman of Vacaville, Calif., and James (Jennifer) Totman of Leavenworth, Wash.; brother, Richard Totman of Pahoa; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
