Nine units responded to the 7:24 p.m. fire, with the first unit arriving at the 140 Alae St. home four minutes later. The fire was reported under control at 7:40 p.m. and extinguished at 7:47 p.m.
No one was injured, and an estimated $85,000 in property was saved.
According to county property tax records, the home is owned by Earl and Donn De La Cruz.
