HONOLULU (AP) — An inmate who was reported missing from Waiawa Correctional Facility is back in police custody.

The state Department of Public Safety says Honolulu police arrested Raphael Hernandez on Tuesday. The department is investigating the escape.

Police learned Hernandez was at Queen’s Medical Center.

Officials say he escaped Saturday. The 32-year-old minimum-security inmate was last seen during a 4 a.m. headcount but was missing during another count two hours later.

He was serving a five-year sentence for promotion of a dangerous drug. He was slated to be released in 2016 but now faces an additional escape charge.
