If so, then come and join in the Kua O Ka La Public Charter School ohana’s 12th annual free tree giveaway.
The free trees will be distributed Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2-3. On Saturday, stop by Hawaii Electric Light Co. in Hilo from 9 a.m. to noon. On Sunday, you can get a tree at the Maku‘u Farmers Market from 8 to 11 a.m., or as long as supplies last.
“We are going to be giving away kukui, niu, kamani, kou, ohia, milo and puhala seedlings,” said a school spokesman. “Please come and get a wonderful seedling.”
