In addition to being active in Toastmasters, Justice has been in community theater for many years, and appeared in “Arsenic and Old Lace” at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She is currently in rehearsals for “Spoon River Project” with the UHH and Hilo Community Players.
Justice said, “My speaking opportunities at Toastmasters and my on-stage appearances with theater performances complement each other well and provide arenas to learn, meet new friends and enjoy myself.”
“Her big Texas smile and welcoming way has turned many guests into members,” said Hilo Toastmasters spokeswoman Jancy Jo Moses. “She is passionate about her commitment to Toastmasters and competed in speech contests.”
This spring, Justice was elected Area 12 governor and attended the District No. 49 Toastmaster’s training sessions on Oahu, where she represented the Big Island. She has been club treasurer for the past two years.
