Shirley Catherine Slaughter Helms, 89, of Waimea, formerly of Hilo, died Oct. 25 at home. Born in Denver, she was a homemaker. Plans pending for celebration of life in late December. Arthur “Seibo” Seiya Saiki, 76, of Holualoa died Nov. 2 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired meat cutter for Matsuyama Food Mart and former carpenter. Services held.
