Mainstreet Pahoa Association, celebrating 20 years in operation, will host the Pahoa Holiday Parade on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Pahoa Village Road will be closed 9-11 a.m.

Montessori Country School, which celebrates 30 years in Pahoa this year, will be honored as the parade’s grand marshal.

The parade’s theme is “Passport to Pahoa.”

Parade applications are available at Pahoa Puna Buy and Sell, Puna Style or Jeff Hunt Surfboards.

Since Pahoa High and Intermediate School won’t be hosting a ho‘olaule‘a this year following the parade, food and arts and crafts vendors may rent a booth at the farmers market in Pahoa Village.
