Born in Captain Cook, she was the owner of Kamigaki Market in Kealakekua and member of Kona Hongwanji, Kumamoto Kenjinkai, Hiroshima Kenjinkai, Bank Kumiai, Business Professional Women’s Club and Lea Lea Women’s Golf Club.
