Kiyomi Hagio, 91, of Volcano died Nov. 19 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pahoa, she was the co-proprietor of H. Hagio Farm and a member of Taishoji Soto Mission, Taishoji Fujinkai, and Fukuoka Kenjinkai. Friends may call from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. Survived by son, Hiram (Noreen) Hagio of Kapaau, Kohala; daughters, Sharon Hagio of Honolulu, Ruby (Carl) Soares of Hilo; son-in-law, Brian Kajikawa of Hilo; brothers, Yoshimi (Sumiko) Oishi of Japan, Stanley (Hiroko) Oishi of Pahoa; sister, Edith Iwata of Pahoa; sisters-in-law, Sachi Oishi of Honolulu, Florence Oishi of San Jose, Calif., Hanae Nishimoto of Hilo; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Fusae Kamigaki, 91, of Kealakekua, died Oct. 28 at her homr. Born in Captain Cook, she was the owner of Kamigaki Market in Kealakekua and member of Kona Hongwanji, Kumamoto Kenjinkai, Hiroshima Kenjinkai, Bank Kumiai, Business Professional Women’s Club and Lea Lea Women’s Golf Club. Private services were held. No koden. Flowers accepted. She is survived by her sons, Burt (Susan) Kamigaki of Capt. Cook, Miron Kamigaki of Kealakekua, Earl (Brenda) Kamigaki of Parker, CO; daughter, Fay Kamigaki of Kealakekua; sister, Emi Matsumura of Kealakekua; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Tammy “Ipo” “Baba” Kuuipo-Nohea Ke, 54, of Naalehu died Nov. 8 at Ka‘u Hospital in Pahala. Born in Ka‘u, she was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Naalehu. Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jehovah’s Witnesses (Kingdom Hall) Naalehu. Survived by daughters, Sky Ke of Oregon and Hope (Aaron) Ke-Leibner of Keaau; son, John (Delia) Ke of Washington; mother, Agnes Publico of Naalehu; father, James Ke of Naalehu; sisters, Kitty Roy of Oregon, Noela (Asa) Pritchard of Naalehu, Kim (Mel) Viloria of Waimea and Blossom Lamb of Texas; brother, James (Stephanie) Ke of Kalopa; eight grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Augustina Mercado, 81, of Pahala died Nov. 8 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was a mill worker for the Ka‘u Agribusiness Co. Inc. in Pahala and she also worked at Mauna Loa Mac Nut Company. Private services held. Survived by husband, Leoveguildo “Hildo” Mercado of Pahala; sons, Peter (Terri) Cabreros and David (Stephanie) Cabreros, both of Keaau; daughters, Caridad (Kenneth) Bargamento of Germany and Marvine Mercado of Honolulu; sisters, Flora Cabreros of Paauilo, Olivia Satomba of Pepeekeo and Mary Jane (Leo) Holson of Washington state; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Janis Lee Weiss, 57, Kealakekua died Nov. 13 at Hospice’s Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Philadelphia, she was a teacher at Konawaena School. Private family services will be held.
