Glad Tidings Church will host its annual Thanksgiving service and luncheon this Sunday, at 10 a.m. at Aunty Sally’s Luau House.
Every year, more than 500 people attend and are treated to an inspirational service and a free Thanksgiving meal.
“Every year we collect all the shoeboxes that we have put together for Operation Christmas Child and pray over them before they are sent out to their destinations. This year, we will also be handing out gift bags to each child present and giving out prizes for the adults. One lucky adult will receive a Kindle Fire HD,” said spokesman Dan DeLuz Jr.
“The public is invited to join us for this special day of fun and food for all our friends — old and new.
