The Interfaith Communities in Action will host the Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hilo United Methodist Church at 374 Waianuenue Ave.

The Interfaith Communities in Action will host the Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hilo United Methodist Church at 374 Waianuenue Ave.

The event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.

The theme for year’s event is “Celebrate the Difference in Unity.” This celebration will include musical offerings and reflections shared by various members of the diverse local faith community.

Nonperishable food items and monetary donations will be collected that evening for the Food Basket.

The event will be followed by refreshments and fellowship.

The Interfaith Communities in Action was created in 1999 to offer interfaith networking, education, fundraising, community change, and service opportunities for faith organizations in East Hawaii.
