Amos Ken “Tako” Agliam, 41, of Hilo died Nov. 15 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Hilo, he was a truck driver for C &F Trucking in Keaau. He was also was a member of the Hawaiian Iron Motorcycle Club. A motorcycle run will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday in Hilo. Friends may call Sunday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; visitation from 10 a.m.-noon; celebration of life at noon. Casual attire. No flowers. Lei are welcomed. Survived by father, Albert Kanoa of Hilo; mother, Petronilla “Pet” Agliam of Pepeekeo; companion, Kelly Waiau of Hilo; hanai daughter, Raquel Balga of Hilo; hanai son, Keola Balga of Hilo; brothers, Allen Agliam of Hilo, Thomas “Tomas” Agliam of Pepeekeo, Elvis Agliam of Pepeekeo and Karl “Karlito” Agliam of Keaau; sister, Romaine “Maine” Castro of Pepeekeo; sister in-law, Paulette Agliam of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ichiro Ohashi, 92, of Mountain View died Nov. 6 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Mountain View, he was a retired carpenter. He was also a member of the Puna Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Baldwin Kumiai, and the Carpenters Union. He was a past member of No Huhu, Mountain View, Japanese, Pirates, and Friday Golf Clubs and also one of the original past members of the Mountain View Hilanders Athletic Club. Visitation from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Dod Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Makiko Ohashi of Mountain View; son, Glenn (Kathy Isherwood) Ohashi of Hilo; daughters, Arleen Ogasawara of Kaneohe and Iris (Ryan Camero) Ohashi of Hilo; sisters, Satsue Watanabe and Aiko Fujimoto, both of Hilo; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
