Lucas St. George led the way with 21 points Saturday night as Waiakea overtook Konawaena to win the championship game of the Waiakea-Keaau boys preseason basketball classic.
Kahinu Alapai scored 12 points at Keaau High and the Warriors surged ahead in the third quarter to win for the fourth straight day.
Jonah Bredeson had 19 points for the Wildcats.

Hawaii Prep 49, Pahoa 41: Kalan Camero and David Ovbadbedia each scored 13 points to lead Ka Makani to third place at the tournament.
Justin Gecas added 10 for HPA, while Tolby Saito tallied a game-high 25 for the Daggers.
