APAC artistic director Jerry Tracy teaches “Tuesday Troupers,” a performance skills class for ages 8-12 year on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This session will run Jan. 7 through Feb. 11.
An “Intergenerational Acting Class” for people of all ages and skill levels is led by Felicity Johnson on Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. All three of these classes are based on a $10 per class tuition. Each class is held at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu and will culminate in a free public sharing performance on the final class day.
In addition, Aloha Teen Theatre, with Roxanne Fox as adviser, meets each Friday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at APAC’s Loft, across the street from the theater on the second floor of the building containing The King’s Daughters Thrift Shop. Involvement in this group is free, and features educational and performance opportunities for teenagers, as well as fundraising activities to finance off-island theater field trips.
