HONOLULU (AP) — A man suspected in a string of break-ins at the University of Hawaii at Manoa was taken into police custody.
Another media outlet reported Wednesday campus security officials are not yet releasing any information about the suspect except he is a “young male.”
Honolulu police said he was apprehended at the University of Hawaii Press office Tuesday about 3:45 a.m.
They said the method of breaking in was consistent with other burglaries at other campus buildings.
Security officials said the UH Press office was also entered illegally Monday morning.
