The state Senate is expanding a pilot program that allows Hawaii residents to provide testimony via videoconferencing.
The program will be available to meetings of the Senate Education and Technology and the Arts committees. Previously, the pilot program was available for neighbor island residents but is being expanded to Oahu residents in its second year.
Hearing notices for the pilot project hearings will indicate videoconferencing testimony will be allowed and contain a link to instructions for the public about how to participate.
